The Box + Flow with Laurie Assaly & Sasha Walker - Thurs. March 3, 7:30 PM
The Box + Flow - the best of both worlds, from hard-hitting to intentional breathing and softening. We will start with a gentle flow, then take on some fun, hard-hitting shadowboxing/HIIT. and will finish with a deep stretch. All levels welcome!

Sasha: Sasha has been hanging out at the gym since before she could walk. Her mother was a body builder and Aerobics instructor so fitness is the the family. She started with gymnastics and ballet, finding that sweating was the best release. Training and being challenged always elevates the mood. Sasha found boxing Aprons For Gloves and has been competing over the last four years. She was hooked on boxing and has kept up with her training while also adding Crossfit. Competing against herself and her own personal bests drives Sasha. You can find her hiking, snowboarding, seawall walks…you know, all the basic Vancouver stuff. Laurie: Laurie is a certified personal trainer and yoga teacher. Her passion lies in moving the body not only as a way to sweat and get a good workout, but as a way to find a release through conscious movement. She enjoys teaching a high energy class style, while incorporating breathing and a deep opening. Expect to sweat, and maybe see a few suave dance moves.
