Forest Stroll - 1.6 km for all Ages and Wheelchair Accessible (Terrain Dependent)
This guided 1.6 km stroll through Pacific Spirit Park is for all ages will be led by Shana Alexander and Megan Williamson. It is wheelchair accessible (if the trail is in good condition), and BC Mobility Opportunities will be on site with loaner GritChairs and TrailRiders. See more below.

This forest stroll is open to all ages; bring your kids, friends, and family for this nature-filled start to International Women's Day!
The 1.6 km trail is wheelchair accessible, however if it is in poor condition because of the weather, this stroll may be cancelled for safety reasons (participants will be notified the day before).
BC Mobility Opportunities Society will be on site and has several loaner mobility devices of varying sizes for people with physical disabilities to use for the stroll, both Grit Chairs (https://www.gogrit.us/) and TrailRiders (a BCMOS invention (https://bcmos.org/trailrider/). If you or a loved one would like to use one of these chairs for the stroll, please have a look at their respective websites and reach out to Shana at info@strongertogethervancouver.com to discuss and reserve your device. Devices will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.
The stroll will begin at 9:15 from the Pacific Spirit Park Society Building. If you are using a Grit Chair or TrailRider, you'll be asked to come a bit earlier to familiarize yourself and your guide(s) with the device.
Note: Dogs are not allowed on this trail on weekends.
