Adaptive Workout with Megan Williamson - March 10, 5:30 PM

This adaptive fitness class is open to all but designed for those who have limited mobility and/or use mobility aids such as scooters, walkers and wheelchairs. Expect full body strength training, stretching, balance, proprioception, functional core and a bit of cardio.

This class is inclusive so whether or not you use mobility aids, you can join and will still get a great workout! Equipment recommendations are some light weights (soup cans work), a dowel, a small light ball and a Theraband. The workout will be a full body resistance training sequence that incorporates stretching, balance and proprioception, strength, functional core and a bit of cardiovascular training! 

Megan is a certified personal trainer through the Academy of Sports Medicine and the head coach at Ocean Rehab and Fitness. She offers adaptive training for those that live with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. Megan offers in person sessions in Vancouver as well as online across the globe.
